Access to Independence continues to actively work to provide our community with support and information crucial to keeping our consumers and staff safe. Our collective goal is to maintain operations under this new and temporary service modality. Under the Administration for Community Living and local government mandates, our staff continues to exercise WFH (work from home) modality during the management of COVID-19.
We remain committed to our consumers and staff as we navigate this health and social crisis. We are doing our part in creating social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep everyone safe and healthy. We understand the significance of social distancing at this time and are reaching out to our consumers for whom isolation may add additional barriers. To that end, our lines remain open and our staff, from direct service providers to the Executive Director, are checking in with those we serve to provide a social outlet via telephone during this time. We are here for you, in this new format, for now, and will continue to serve you. All direct service staff is on a WFH (work from home) status through the end of March, at which point, the organization will re-evaluate this work model in line with accepted guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, local government mandates, and accepted grantor guidelines.
The organization remains committed to the provision of services, under this new and temporary model. While our staff is on WFH model, please be aware of the following:
1. Services are still being provided following safety, health, and social distance guidelines. Under these guidelines, services are being provided over the phone and/or electronically.
