Albert Jackson

Albert Jackson desperately needed an electric wheelchair because it was becoming so hard and painful to walk. He had tried to get his insurance to purchase one but for some reason it kept being delayed. He had previously working with Independent Living Service Coordinator Valerie Arita and she referred him to our Assistive Technology Coordinators Tom Riis and David Smith. Albert was in luck as a donated wheelchair was in stock at that time. Access to Independence gave Albert a quality chair and he gratefully shared, “This is a life saver for me. Now I can get around the community and get services that I need to be more independent!”
