The Emergency and Resilience Response Program helps people with disabilities prepare for emergencies like wildfires, power outages, and floods. Through personalized planning, accessible emergency alerts, and free emergency supply kits, we work side-by-side with consumers to build confidence and resilience. Emergency Preparedness Planning
Our team helps you develop a detailed plan that includes evacuation strategies, communication methods, medical needs, and transportation considerations tailored to your disability and lifestyle.


Emergency Supply Backpacks
We provide eligible participants with backpacks filled with emergency essentials such as water, non-perishable food, flashlights, hygiene items, and more—ready to grab when needed.
Disaster Alert Enrollment Support
We assist you in signing up for local emergency alerts and outage notifications so you’re always aware of potential threats in your area and can respond quickly.


Independent Living Skills Training
We offer hands-on training in areas like decision-making under stress, organizing medications for emergency kits, communicating during emergencies, and navigating shelters or resources independently.
Resource Navigation and Referrals
We connect you with vital local resources such as cooling centers, transportation services, accessible shelters, and agencies offering recovery support after an emergency.
