The Youth Coordinator plays a vital role under the guidance of the Program Manager, aiming to empower young people with disabilities aged 14-24 to pursue their personal goals for independence. By facilitating access to the enriching programs at the Center and connecting youth with valuable community services, we strive to create meaningful opportunities for growth and success. Additionally, the Youth Coordinator leads engaging educational workshops designed to challenge and reduce societal stigmas about disabilities, encouraging participants to become passionate advocates for themselves and others. A deep understanding of college resources, local vocational programs, and youth services—both locally and nationally—is essential for this role. The Youth Coordinator undertakes various responsibilities aligned with the mission of Access to Independence, and may also manage specific duties linked to particular grants. Together, we can inspire a brighter future for our youth!
