SPIL (STATE PLAN FOR INDEPENDENTE LIVING)

State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL)
In order for states to receive federal funding, they must submit an approvable 3-year State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL) to the Administration for Community Living (ACL), that comply with specific standards and assurances (Section 725 of the Rehabilitation Act), and that reflects the state’s design for the establishment of a statewide network of centers. Below you can find the State Plans for the two states we serve, California and Hawaii.
